Recipe For Success:

The recipe for success at Jacksboro Middle School is “keep it simple!” We incorporate two key ingredients – commitment and culture. By focusing on these equally important components JMS continues to meet and conquer new challenges.

Administrators, faculty, staff, students, and parents are all committed to continuing the tradition of success at Jacksboro Middle School. High expectations are the norm, for teachers and students alike. Teachers are the pacesetters in the school. Our highly qualified staff is committed to continuing to grow professionally, both in their individual areas of expertise as well as the most recent educational stategies. Their enthusiasm for education inspires learning throughout the school community.

Over the past few years, Jacksboro Middle School has grown a culture of trust, caring relationships, and positive attitudes. We take the time to build relationships with students, not only academically but socially as well. The Jacksboro Middle School staff takes an interest in and supports students’ activities outside of school. By attending sporting events, church functions, and recitals, students see that we are interested in them as individuals. By fostering these relationships, we have developed a caring school community.

Positivity begins at the top with the administration, and quickly spills over to staff, students, and parents. This energy generates motivation, enthusiasm, and school loyalty. At Jacksboro Middle School, we believe that students thrive in this environment. Visitors, too, immediately sense the energy, and feel welcome in the warm and sparkling atmosphere JMS exudes. At Jacksboro Middle School, “excellence is not a skill…it’s an attitude!”
