Recipe For Success:
For a school to be successful, it must first meet student needs. South Lincoln Middle School faculty and staff are devoted to meeting those needs by providing a safe and caring environment. We accomplish this by communicating an “open door policy” for all stakeholders. Procedures are in place, which create a safe disciplined feeling for students. Faculty and staff care about basic needs as well as student academic needs. Each reporting period we celebrate positive character traits and academic growth with assemblies. Parent participation at these assemblies is high. South Lincoln provides a nurturing family environment, which encourages our students to strive for successful learning.
Expectations for everyone in our school are high. Highly qualified teachers protect instructional time and keep students on task using engaging lessons with minimal interruptions in daily schedules. Teachers collaborate among grade levels and subject areas during common planning times to develop and share inviting hands-on lessons. Teachers dissect assessment data, which provides information concerning students’ individual needs. Title I support is focused in lower grades to provide a solid foundation. By using site based in-service opportunities, teachers have opportunities to meet their individual needs.
South Lincoln family provides a positive learning environment where every child can succeed.
